Young & Bullseye is the seventeenth episode in season 5 of Young & Hungry. It premiered on July 18, 2018.
Plot
Wanting their boyfriends to become friends, Gabi and Sofia organize a double date. But when the guys don’t hit it off, their conflict spreads to Gabi and Sofia. Meanwhile, Yolanda meets a handsome doctor when he confuses her with his online date. But needing help to keep up the ruse, Yolanda enlists Elliot and Alan as coaches. [1]
Episode Summary
While throwing darts, Sofia insults Gabby who says she was only trying to be happy for her. However, Sofia calls it a lie and states Gabby is pretentious and selfish, before she throws the last dart. Sofia is horrified where the dart hits while Gabby is confused, as it is revealed to have pierced her head. Sofia nervously reveals this to Gabby, who upon realizing and pulling it out until collapsing from shock.
Yolanda continues her date until the bartender reveals Gabby's injury, as she volunteers Eric but he reveals he actually lied about being a doctor and runs out.
At Sofia and Gabi's apartment, Gabby has an ice pack for her injury and the two proceed to make amends and agree they were both rushing their relationships. Josh and Nick arrive, both concerned for their respective girlfriends (Josh for Gabby's injury and Nick for Sofia's legal advice) but the two ladies reveal they are fine and both decide to postpone moving in with each other.
The next day, Yolanda sees movers are bringing Sofia's stuff back, before she notices Eric is among them. He is forced to reveal that he is actually a mover and he lied to impress his beautiful and amazing date. He notices Yolanda drinking and she reveals her own lie but seeing they are no different, she slyly invites him to sex to make up for it. Not passing up that opportunity, Eric happily accepts and follows her into the apartment.
